Terms of Service

1. The service

Tailr uses AI to rewrite your resume and draft cover letters tailored to job posts you provide. Output is generated automatically and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you submit it to an employer.

Tailr does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific outcome.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Tailr.

3. Credits and payments

Credits are sold as one-time purchases and are processed securely by Stripe. One credit generates one tailored application, or unlocks one add-on (interview prep or a LinkedIn profile rewrite) for an application. Credits do not expire and are not redeemable for cash.

If a generation fails on our side, the credit is automatically returned to your balance. Because credits are delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable, but if you have a problem, contact us and we will make it right.

Free and referral credits are promotional, have no cash value, and may be revoked if obtained through abuse, such as creating multiple accounts. The free credit is limited to one per person: it is not granted for temporary email addresses, repeat or aliased addresses of the same mailbox, or when several accounts have already claimed it from the same network. You can always buy credits to continue.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the resumes and job posts you submit and the documents Tailr generates for you. You grant Tailr a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you.

You must only submit content you have the right to use, and you must not use Tailr to misrepresent your qualifications.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users’ data, reverse engineer the service, scrape it, or use automated tools to create accounts or generate content in bulk.

6. Disclaimers and liability

Tailr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailr’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above. Continuing to use Tailr after changes means you accept the new terms.
